Hilary Duff & 19 Celebs Who Love To Share Their #MomLife On Social Media

Everyone knows that motherhood and parent life can be difficult most times. Children often turn everyone's lives upside down in the absolute best way humanly possible and while it can be insane, it’s always lovingly rewarding.

Parents' lives are no longer their own and they have little mini-thems wreaking wonderful havoc all over their lives and it’s just so pure. With the help of social media these days, new moms find it easier to connect with other moms in order to share advise and stories that help along the way.

And those are just for the average, normal, everyday moms. What about celebrity moms just living the #MomLife? Social media is a great way to show fans what it’s like living with a tiny little human that they created (it’s especially interesting to see their posts within the first few months of a new little one). Or, conversely, if you’re one of the Kardashians, what it’s like to give birth and then take the baby on an exotic vacation for a little bit “just to get away.”

A lot of celebrity moms allow fans a rare glimpse into their parenting worlds and outsiders get to see how normal their mom lives can actually be. Moms everywhere can certainly relate.

20 Next Generation Momanger - Kim Kardashian

Instagram

As Kim Kardashian and Kanye West prepare to bring yet ANOTHER child into the world (via a surrogate again), we can marvel at her IG and Twitter feeds at her already three precious children: North, Chicago, and Saint. She has admitted that raising children, while rewarding, can be difficult at times. “When they all need you at the same time and are crying,” she told People magazine “it can be difficult.” But she has often admitted that having children “changed (her) soul” according to a post she wrote on her website to kick off Mother’s Day last year. “You learn so much about yourself from being a parent and you care more about the world you are raising your kids in.”

19 Better Than Expected - Cardi B

Instagram

For a while, everyone suspected that rapper Cardi B MIGHT be pregnant, but she would constantly throw everyone off by saying “I’m not pregnant, I just like food.” Well, turns out, she WAS pregnant and is now living a happy life after welcoming daughter Kulture to the world back in July.

And just like new moms everywhere, Cardi is learning on the job and enjoys taking to social media to relate to other parents.

“When parents say ‘If you wake the baby up YOU’RE PUTTING HER BACK TO SLEEP!’ I feel that” she tweeted only three days after her daughter was born.

18 The Perfect NBA Momma - Ayesha Curry

Instagram

There are a lot of brilliant NBA moms out there in the league who all deserve gold medals for holding down the house. But we have to say that Ayesha Curry, the wife of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry, gets our vote. If you’re a basketball fan, you already know of this happy couple and their precious three little ones (especially Riley, who tends to be a focal point whenever her dad goes to the playoffs). “The amount of stuff you get done in a day is insane,” Ayesha said of the biggest surprise of becoming a parent. “Like, what were we doing with our time before kids? I feel like I should have invented something.”

17 Chaotic Perfection - Hilary Duff

Instagram

Yep, you see this correctly: Lizzie McGuire is now a proud mama. A few months ago, the actress gave birth to her daughter Banks. “I love it, but also, I am so tired!” the 31-year old actress told Fox News in an interview. “But it is amazing. She’s so dreamy. I call her juicy fruit now – she’s chunking out a little.”

Hilary also has a 6-year old son Luca as well (as pictured above from her IG page) who seems to be the perfect big brother to Banks.

“He always has his hands on her cheeks and kissing her. He’s really sweet. Honestly, it’s like she’s always been there, and I was really nervous because there’s such a big age gap and it’s been just us for such a long time.”

16 Goofing Off - Kristen Bell

Instagram

She’s not only one of the top-notch comedian actresses out there today (don’t believe us? Just watch an episode of The Good Place) but Kristen Bell’s social media presence as a Mom is pretty much A+. With a few exceptions.

Despite the things she posts on IG, she and husband Dax Shepard go all out to protect the privacy of their children.

“As open as we are, we’ve agreed to a certain amount of openness,” she told Today. “And the rest is ours. And it will stay ours. We are fiercely territorial about our family.” It’s good to hear that in this day and age.

15 Sunshine Kiddos - Kate Hudson

Good Housekeeping

While actress Kate Hudson loves sharing her family life on IG, she remains completely down to earth about it and openly honest about how even she can be sometimes stressed out about mom life. “Some days I feel like I should win Best Mom of the Day award,” she wrote in an InStyle cover story back in 2016. “…and some days I find myself doing strange things that don’t have any real purpose, in faraway corners [of] my house, and I realize I am literally and deliberately hiding from my children.” Every parent has days like that, and it’s perfectly okay, Kate goes on to explain.

14 Learning On The Job - Kylie Jenner

Instagram

The world was surprised, to say the least, when Kylie Jenner announced that she was pregnant… after she gave birth to her first baby. Everyone suspected it for months when she stepped out of the limelight, but they weren’t expecting that she’d pull off the ultimate “gotcha” by never announcing her pregnancy at all.

And with good reason: she wanted the experience to be hers and hers alone.

When Stormi was finally introduced to the world, it was in a dramatic and very Kylie fashion. Since then, she’s been showing off her beautiful daughter all over social media and just basically living and loving parenthood along with her sisters.

13 Teaching The Right Way - Pink

Insider

Singer Pink wants her daughter to have a positive outlook on life, so she doesn’t tend to filter her words around her. She’s has been openly honest on social media on how being a parent is the hardest job in the world. “It’s so hard,” Pink wrote about parenthood. “Y’all. I wish us mamas could give ourselves and each other a break.” Pink has been very open about teaching her daughter self-love. When Willow (her daughter) once told her mom that she considered herself “the ugliest girl I know,” Pink got emotional. “I didn’t say anything, and instead I went home and I made a PowerPoint presentation for her,” she said while accepting an MTV Music Video Award.

12 The Ulitmate Happiness - Chrissy Teigen

Instagram

You never have a boring moment if you happen to follow model Chrissy Teigen on social media. She’s the ultimate mom, wife (to singer John Legend), chief, and clap-back artist. She’s also extremely real when it comes to being a Mom. She’s been very adamant that it takes a village to raise children.

“Having help,” Chrissy said when asked about how she balances her work and being a parent.

“My mom lives with us. I have hair and makeup people. I’m not getting up and doing all this by myself. If I’m not being done for something, I’m not going anywhere. A lot of hands go into it. We have help. It’s important for people to know that.”

11 Anything For Her Children - Victoria Beckham

Instagram

There are still some people out there who don’t know who the real Victoria Beckham is. She’s so much more than just “David Beckham’s wife” or “that fashion designer” or “just one of the Spice Girls.” She’s the beating heart of the Beckham household and would do anything when it comes to her family. If you follow her IG feed, you know that she’s a fierce mother and extremely devoted to her children. For years, people always considered her some sort of ice queen, but that couldn’t be further from the truth, and her #momlife shows it with every photo she takes with her family.

10 A Mother's Love - Olivia Wilde

Instagram

She is one of the most beautiful people on the face of the planet, so when actress Olivia Wilde and comedian and Saturday Night Live veteran Jason Sudeikis became parents, all seemed right with the world. And it’s clear from her IG feed that she’s so desperately in love with her two children.

Having children even has changed her outlook on beauty itself.

“Since having kids, my relationship to health and beauty has become much more thoughtful,” Wilde said to the website Into the Gloss a couple years back. “At the point when I first started having children – when I was suddenly responsible for another living being – I became conscious of what I was putting on and in my body.”

9 It Was Love At First Sight - Khloe Kardashian

Snapchat

As the world now knows, three of the Kardashian siblings were expecting at close to around the same time last year. Kylie, Kim (via a surrogate), and of course Khloe Kardashian. Everyone in the family always said that it was Khloe who was destined to be a mother since she was rather young, so when it finally happened for her and she became pregnant, she was overjoyed. When daughter True was born, it was clear that Khloe was immediately obsessed and was constantly loving her every waking moment. If you follow her IG and Snapchat, you’ll see it immediately. It’s simply precious.

8 Champion Of Her (And Our) Hearts - Serena Williams

Instagram

She’s a champion both on the court, and in the life of her baby daughter.

Since the day she was born Serena Williams has been coveting her daughter Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. so much so, that she can’t stand to be away from her.

“We’re not spending a day apart until she’s eighteen,” Serena joked to Vogue magazine about after the birth. “Now that I’m 36 and I look at my baby, I remember that this was also one of my goals when I was little, before tennis took over, when I was still kind of a normal girl who played with dolls.” And now she’s living out both her dreams of motherhood and being a world-famous tennis superstar.

7 Sleeping On The Job - Jenna Dewan

Instagram

Children can even exhaust the fittest of us all. Just ask Jenna Dewan. Of course, we were all surprised and saddened last year when it was announced that Jenna and her husband Channing Tatum were separating after nine years of marriage. Since the split, Jenna has been exploring single motherhood and finding herself. “I think everyone wants to hold on to what’s in front of them, but when you open your mind, saying, ‘I want what’s best for myself and my daughter,’ you have to be okay with however that looks,” she told Women’s Health months after the split. “I feel I’ve been on a wave of growth.”

6 The Ultimate Cuteness - Jessica Biel

Instagram

She’s one half of the absolute perfect couple. When Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake got married, the world paused in awe at the beauty that the couple seemed to radiate from any distance.

When they became parents, their fans were naturally curious about how the couple would be as parents and they have NOT let anyone down. At least on their IG.

“These little people come around, and they require so much and your schedule is really not your own, nor is it important anymore, and it’s very clear that it’s your life now revolving around this dude,” she said about her young son. “I’m not that person who feels like, ‘Oh, my whole life changes for my kid,’ but it does.”

5 Picture Perfect Life - Kourtney Kardashian

Instagram

Kourtney Kardashian seems to be the leader of the Kardashian pack when it comes to motherhood. She was the first of the family to start her own family, and it appears she learned it all from the main mama herself–Kris. “She really has shown me a balance between being a mom and having a relationship – she had such a great relationship with my dad,” Kourtney once said of mom Kris. “I think she does it all, and she’s really showed me that. And she’s also shown me and my sisters how to celebrate life and celebrate holidays, and she takes so much pride, she’s instilled that in us.”

4 Living Their Best Lives - Kelly Clarkson

Instagram

Motherhood can be the most empowering thing on the face of this earth. Just ask singer Kelly Clarkson, who flipped her entire world inside out when she had her kiddos. And she’s not sorry for any of it.

Not only is she raising her own babies, but she’s also helping raise her stepchildren (with husband Brandon Blackstock) as well.

“I’ve accomplished a lot,” Clarkson told E! News. “But I guess the biggest success I want is whenever I die people will say, “She was so successful as a mother, and as a wife.’ That’s kind of my big goal.”

3 Busy In Love - Busy Philipps

Instagram

No one is perfect–certainly not the perfect mother. And actress Busy Philipps will be the first to tell you that. Busy is the mother of two adorable girls and is juggling not only motherhood but a successful acting profession AND talk show duties. “Motherhood breaks you open in a way you never thought possible, and opens your heart and teaches you a love you never knew, but also the challenges are innumerous,” she said when talking about her favorite part of being a mom. “You know, so much of motherhood is doing motherhood. It’s not just having children, it’s all of the work you have to do to have the children, and the mundane everyday tasks can wear a person down.”

2 13 Going On Mom - Jennifer Garner

Instagram

Ever since she and husband Ben Affleck split up, Jennifer Garner has been nailing this entire single mom thing.

Last year, during The Ellen DeGeneres Show, Jennifer went out and sang a delightful little tune about motherhood that had people rolling with laughter.

She also went on to explain that each pregnancy was extremely different. “I was nauseous for Violet (Jennifer and Ben’s oldest daughter), then with Sera, my middle daughter, I had to listen to Yo-Yo Ma at night. It got worse throughout the day. It wasn’t like in the morning and then I was fine. As the day went on, it was worse. For some reason Yo-Yo Ma got me through.”

1 From Grey's To Onesies - Katherine Heigl

Instagram

Actress Katherine Heigl was once the darling of the TV world when she starred on ABC’s hit medical drama Grey’s Anatomy before becoming a mother. She explained that the thought of becoming a mother scared her because she experienced the loss of her 16-year-old brother when she was only eight. “When I first became a mother, the idea of loving my children the way I did terrified me,” she told Today. “Because it could all be taken away. Many people have suffered through something like that.” She makes every single day with her children count, and it shows in her love for them on her IG feed.
