Some of the best diets out there have the philosophy of portion control. It allows you to eat delicious food as long as you eat them in moderation. Both Kim and Khloe have worked with the trainer. Melissa says her diet philosophy is "making food simple" and eating "fresh and good" meals. "Portion control [is important] too." Kim allowed her into her house to clean out the pantry of "processed crap" like vanilla wafers, graham crackers, and rice crispy treats. This is why Kim calls it a "crazy strict diet." Her body is part of her fame and without it, she wouldn’t really be Kim Kardashian. Her name has been turned into a brand and a franchise. "Most likely, if it comes out of a box, it’s not going to be good for you," said Melissa.
13 She Gets To Have A Cheat Day
Cheat days are one of the best parts about being on a strict diet. It allows you to get just a little bit of junk into your life without it affecting your performance. We’ve seen The Rock chow down on sushi during his cheat days and the same goes for Kim. Though she doesn’t go all out as she used to and when asked about her cheat days on Twitter, she responded,
"Take it easy, it's not worth it and I get sick now if I eat too much junk."
According to her trainer, Kim tried to eat greasy French fries and got sick. "I finally said enough with the junk food. These days, I prefer salads with grilled chicken or turkey burgers without the bun."

You might be surprised to hear that Kim Kardashian has put her partying ways behind her. She couldn’t continue doing that, however, with such an intense workout schedule. "For me, this meant not eating for 14 to 16 hours after dinner. I wouldn't eat past 7 p.m. at night and then I would wait to eat breakfast the next day until after my morning workout, which would be around 10:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Then, one day a week, I did a 24-hour fast where I only drank homemade bone broth, water, and green tea."
8 She Wanted More Out Of Life
Usually, when people decide to adopt a strict routine, it’s because they are sick of what they were doing before. The media can certainly be harsh with the Kardashians and some of it. She is one of the curviest girls in the industry and she loves it. She’s not one of those girls that wants to shed her foxy curves.

Weighing yourself on a scale can be pointless for people who are weight training. Muscle weighs more than fat, so if you follow the scale, you can end up getting frustrated because you don’t see the numbers going down. As you build muscle, the numbers will increase even though you will be slimming down. It’s just a number on the scale and it’s not something that you should be focusing on.
"I always say you shouldn’t weigh yourself. I don’t even have a set of scales in my house,” Kim says.

4 It’s Important To Have A Gym Buddy
Kim is often seen working out with her sisters and even Kanye at times. If you are training intensely, it can be good to have a training partner because they can help keep you motivated. Kim’s tip to stay motivated is to have someone to work out with. She has exercised with friends from time to time, but she usually recruits family members more often. Obviously, the best workout partner she has right now is Melissa because that’s who gives her the best workouts.

We’re not sure how anyone can get up at 5:30 to do a 6 a.m. workout, but that’s what Kim does. The reason for the early-morning workouts is likely because Kim is a busy girl and doesn’t have any other time to do it.
